YEAR-ROUND SCHOOL
The Golden Rule accepts students aged 2.5+ for school. Students must be potty-trained.
Our school is year-round. The school year starts the first weekday after Independence Day and continues, loosely following a 6 week on 1 week off schedule, until the Friday before Memorial Day.
The Pre-K program is four hours a day, five days a week. You may choose a 3-, 4-, or 5-day placement for your child. If you enroll your child in a shorter week, the days must be sequential. In addition to the curriculum below, we offer multiple guest presentations and field trips to our students.
Our K+ program is 5 days a week.

Admissions Process
The admissions process begins with a classroom tour and meeting with the director. This allows the prospective family to get a comprehensive understanding of
The Golden Rule classroom and the Montessori Method (you can also learn more about that by visiting our Montessori page).
We believe the one-on-one time allows for each family to work with the director on any specific questions or concerns. After the tour, the family is encouraged to fill out an application. A $75 registration fee is required to reserve a child’s spot. An application may be filled out without the registration fee, however your child’s spot will not be secured until the fee is paid.

Acceptance to The Golden Rule is based on availability. To secure your child's spot, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $75 will be due upon acceptance.
